Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective cross-border transaction strategies to optimize operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert legal advice on foreign exchange regulations and compliance matters to facilitate smooth international operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business units, finance, and compliance teams, to ensure that legal advice aligns with business objectives.
  • Identify potential legal risks associated with cross-border operations and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suites, to ensure that legal advice is aligned with business objectives.

Role Requirements

  • 10+ years of post-qualification experience; qualified lawyer from a reputable law firm; ideally PRC & NY qualified.
  • Solid experience in handling cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.
  • Sound knowledge in various corporate and business legal structures is a must.
  • Good experience in working with senior stakeholders, C-suites, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
  • Mandarin (written and spoken) is a must for this role.
