Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Derivatives Settlement Specialist to join our team at Kingfisher Executive Search (HK) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the post-trade processing of derivatives trades and hedges, collaborating with traders, counterparties, and brokers to ensure timely and accurate trade execution and confirmation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the settlement process for derivatives transactions, including daily reconciliation of trades and positions.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to trade settlements and position management in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to derivatives operations.
  • Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating operational risks and implementing best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to derivatives trading and operations.
  • Generate and review reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of settlement experience in securities brokerage industry or banking.
  • Hands on experience in Clearstream and Euroclear.
  • Knowledge of securities, fixed Income Listed and OTC derivatives and Structure Products settlement.
  • Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
