Job Description:
We're seeking a Specification Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for promoting our products and building strong relationships with key influencers in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Promote Our Architectural Lighting Products: Actively present and promote WAC Lighting products, generating project specifications through strong relationships with lighting designers, architects, consulting engineers, and other key influencers.
- Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with WAC Distribution partners on specification strategies, keeping everyone in the loop with ongoing plans and activities.
- Engage with the Community: Participate in and organize events within the local lighting community.
- Adapt Sales Plans: Understand the dynamics of key influencers in your market and adjust your sales approach and forecast accordingly.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong network within the local lighting specification community.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, and a likable, positive attitude.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of project specification business procedures, lighting design principles, electrical systems, and the latest lighting technology.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and the local language.
- Travel Ability: Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time to meet with lighting specifiers and clients, with most of your time spent in your assigned markets.
