Key Responsibilities- Requirements Analysis: Analyze business requirements and assess detailed solutions options from a system perspective, ensuring that they align with the company's vision and goals.
- Solution Design: Support solution design and contribute expertise and detailed knowledge to ensure high-level design decisions are deliverable.
- Requirements Documentation: Ensure that requirements are mapped and documented to functional and technical specifications for software development projects and enhancements.
- Technical Development: Contribute expertise in supporting the development of technical specifications and participate in hands-on technical development and implementation.
- Incident Support: Carry out level 2 and level 3 incident supports for in-production systems and manage end-user expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee and QA the development of all solution components, ensuring they meet requirements and comply with relevant Cathay Pacific standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IM domains to drive innovation and keep abreast of the business strategy, business plan, and latest industrial trends.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in application development and support.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications are essential.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and experience in programming languages like Java, Python, AWS, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps mindset and principles of Agile or Lean methodology.
- Personal Qualities: Focus on business and end-user needs, ability to set expectations, and understand end-user behavior.
