About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Enterprise Solutions Architect to support business-critical strategic IT projects with architecture design, roadmap, and solution development aligned with our defined architecture principles.

  • Design and implement enterprise architecture solutions to drive digital transformation, customer-serving platforms, CRM, application modernization, and integrated platform development.
  • Analyze business priorities and strategies, translating them into architecture requirements for the operational enterprise and proposing strategic architecture framework development to the business.
  • Provide enterprise architecture design thinking and support to the EA team, Technology Delivery IT, and business teams, focusing on business and application architecture.
  • Contribute to the definition of architecture strategy, direction, and standards pertinent to technology solution delivery, ensuring alignment with our overall IT strategy.
  • Be an active EA team member and contribute to architecture community discussions on roadmaps, blueprints, and architecture building blocks development with domain leads.
  • Evaluate and align capabilities with current business priorities and objectives.
  • Participate in architecture assessments and reviews, partnering with subject matter experts.
  • Develop implementation and migration plans with risk management, business cost, and benefits analysis for work packages to be delivered.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or above in information technology, computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an architect role, ideally with insurance industry experience. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for Senior Enterprise Architect positions.
  • Demonstrated architecture depth and experience in at least one technical or architectural domain.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
  • Experience influencing solution direction and standard adoption through the use of architecture capability, building blocks, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Ability to work in complex IT environments and prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing context.
  • Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful solution delivery.
