Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Investment Associate in Hong Kong. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the senior members of our investment team in delivering investment solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for monitoring and providing guidance on the markets to internal and external clients, preparing investment policy statements for prospective clients, and analyzing economic trends and activities to advise on the impact on investors' portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior members of the investment team in delivering investment solutions to clients
  • Monitor and provide guidance on the markets to internal and external clients
  • Prepare investment policy statements for prospective clients
  • Analyze economic trends and activities to advise on the impact on investors' portfolios
  • Recommend changes to investors' holdings based on economic, financial, and market factors
  • Develop relationships and generate ideas with bankers and clients to drive growth of the asset base
  • Engage clients on investment themes and solutions, and assist in the execution of investment solutions and trades
  • Attend internal and external meetings to stay current on financial markets and products and services offered by Citi Private Bank
  • Adhere to a specific prospecting code of conduct, which permits acquiring new private client accounts only by referral or personal contact with an individual seeking to do business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in economics, finance, or business administration; professional experience or related occupation
  • Strong financial background, ability to communicate with co-workers and clients; excellent written and communication skills, able to work without direction, self-motivated
  • US: S7, S66 (or S63/S65) NOTE: Securities Industry Exam (SIE is a prerequisite to the S7)
