Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at the City University of Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware and software, network systems, and other IT-related equipment.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our computer systems, including software updates, hardware repairs, and network configuration.
  • Support the development and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives, including the design and deployment of new systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of IT services and support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5 passes (Grade E/Level 2) in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics, preferably with a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Studies.
  • At least 2 years' working experience in IT support, system development, and smart applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access) and Macro.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in client servicing and/or knowledge of facilities management, Building Management System (BMS), and Building Information Modelling (BIM) are preferred.
