About the Role

The Edge Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for optimizing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring that our cloud costs are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Conduct regular reviews of cloud usage and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud optimization initiatives are aligned with business objectives
  • Provide expert advice on cloud financial operations and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Technology degree with strong analytical background
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze, interrogate and interpret data sets to draw prudent conclusions
  • Good awareness of Apptio Cloudability, or similar cost management/billing tools
  • Experience of interacting with diverse stakeholders with the ability to present and articulate effectively
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to produce meaningful and accurate insights
  • Possess good attention to details, with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple project-related priorities
  • A team player with proven track record of working with diverse teams and stakeholders
