About This Role

The Global IT Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing global operations, implementing architectures and procedures to ensure services delivery.

This role ensures that underlying infrastructure adheres to capacity and availability management, enabling efficient service delivery and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert knowledge and advice across SID Services, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Track performance against key measures and update stakeholders regularly, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Align regional IT infrastructure with global standards and business objectives, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Oversee cloud, IT systems, networks, and infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security standards and data protection policies, safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Manage escalated service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruption.
  • Implement ITIL best practices, driving process improvements and enhancing service quality.
  • Define and manage service level agreements, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent command of English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure, with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Technical proficiency in relevant IT infrastructure and service desk tools, with experience in cloud platforms and identity management.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices, with familiarity with service desk software and tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, with experience in IT operation management and senior systems engineering.
