Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Manager, Product Development to join our team in Shenzhen, China. As a key member of our Product Development department, you will be responsible for leading the product development team to design, develop, and launch new IoT products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new products on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective product development strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
- Analyze data and metrics to inform product development decisions and improve processes.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and abilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in product development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based product development platforms.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (Cantonese) is required.
