Position Summary: This role is crucial in overseeing the routine operations of Finance, primarily focusing on processing insurance payments through various channels, as well as managing month-end and year-end deliverables, accrual exercises, and account reconciliations. The incumbent will also engage in various ad-hoc projects and must be adept at multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations related to insurance payments, ensuring timely completion of month-end and year-end deliverables, accrual exercises, and account reconciliations.
  • Address daily inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding payment statuses and related arrangements.
  • Assist in the implementation of payment projects, participate in user acceptance testing, and provide support post-implementation, including preparation of audit materials.
  • Coordinate the preparation of audit materials.
  • Offer additional support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Substantial accounting experience with a focus on Finance Operations and Accounting ledgers, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the financial sector.
  • Familiarity with IFRS 17 is a plus.
  • Proven experience in user acceptance testing, including the preparation of test plans, test cases, and reports.
  • Ability to adapt to changes with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SUN and SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
  • Patient and willing to provide immediate assistance to internal stakeholders.
