DevOps Trainee Opportunity

Societe Generale Assurances is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Trainee to join our team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage user requests, gather information, and communicate through various channels
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve incidents and problems
  • Propose and develop solutions using technologies Java and C#
  • Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure production stability
  • Monitor application and chain health, build monitoring using external tools, and develop in-house monitoring tools
  • Take initiatives to reduce operational risks and improve day-to-day production efficiency

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar majors
  • Have good knowledge of Unix and SQL
  • Capable of understanding and coding with programming languages Java or C#
  • Willing to learn and able to learn quickly
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive mindset and ability to work as a team player
  • Fluent in English is mandatory

This is a fixed-term 12-month Trainee contract. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. To apply for the Trainee position, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full-time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
