Business Communications Trainee

Societe Generale Assurances is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Communications Trainee to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Business Communications Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the business communications leads for Asia Pacific and working in coordination with the local communications teams and the French headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activating and managing 360-communication plans to promote business expertise and achievements
  • Supporting senior representatives and experts in business lines, such as media & social media spokespeople, marketing teams
  • Working in close collaboration with global business communications teams and media relations team to ensure consistency with global strategy

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of strategic communications approach to communicate business and sustainable finance expertise
  • Support 360 communications, coordinate with external consultancies and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
  • Coordinate with regional, local and global teams, contribute to weekly updates and take part in brainstorms and strategy discussions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, finance or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong writing skills with creative thinking
  • Communications experience in the financial services sector and general knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Experience in traditional and social media strategy planning and execution in Asia
  • Relationship and adaptation skills: a team player with ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Service-driven, dynamic and open-minded: a doer with ability to steer business and support functions towards a common goal
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy, with sensitivity to confidential matters, and transparent

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
