Job Title: Product Lifecycle Management Expert
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expert to lead our team in designing and implementing custom applications and supporting 3rd party applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLM and PDM processes, including packaging, raw materials, BOMs, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams of application developers to design and support custom applications and 3rd party applications.
- Manage large-scale business application implementation projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Become an expert and architect on our current PLM environment, driving solutions and roadmaps for future enhancements or adoptions.
- Gather and prioritize requirements, manage scope, schedule, and delivery of PLM solutions to support cross-functional design and manufacturing processes.
- Create a PLM architecture and roadmap, working collaboratively with stakeholders to gain buy-in from functional units.
- Drive process improvement efforts for business-critical systems using IT and enterprise systems, acting as a conduit between business and IT to plan technical development and execute system implementation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years' experience in implementing PLM solutions in R&D and Manufacturing industries, preferably in electronics.
- Demonstrated experience leading global teams of application developers and architecting business requirements, functional specifications, and business process documentation.
- Strong understanding of Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain business areas and their supporting technology.
- Leadership, negotiation skills, and ability to learn business strategy and operations.
- Recent and functional experience with PLM, Product Portfolio management systems, Requirements Management, and Issue Tracking Tools.
