Overview

Salary Information

Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all accounting and financial activities within one of the company's operating entities in Mainland China, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.
  2. Provide strategic advice to management on finance and operational development, facilitating review of business performance and effectiveness of operations.
  3. Prepare and submit monthly, interim, and annual group financial reporting packages to the Hong Kong Head Office.
  4. Develop budgets, management reports, and other ad-hoc reports as needed.
  5. Maintain and improve financial controls in accordance with Group Policy.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors to complete interim and annual audits.
  7. Negotiate with local government officials regarding regulatory and compliance issues, including tax, accounting, and foreign exchange matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Membership in the HKICPA or equivalent professional body.
  3. Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in listed/sizable organizations, with work experience in Mainland China essential. Preference given to candidates from big four CPA firms.
  4. Familiarity with ERP systems and implementation advantageous.
  5. Good knowledge of mainland China operations, GAAPs, tax, and relevant statutory rules and regulations.
  6. Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua required.
  7. Able to relocate to the Mainland.
