We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Educational Support Assistant.

This role involves providing assistance to teachers in a non-teaching capacity to support students with social/emotional and learning difficulties in all school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring students and managing records, materials, and equipment
  • Collecting student data and carrying out modifications and accommodations
  • Modeling appropriate social skills and facilitating social interaction
  • Assisting with classroom work and attending to student physical needs

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Experience with youth desirable
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration
  • Exhibit good judgment, mental alertness, tact, and courtesy

Compensation and Benefits:

Step 1 ($20.72/hr) – Step 5 ($23.23/hr)

CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement

Anticipated Start Date:

January 15, 2025
