Job Title: Resident Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Hospital Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a broad portfolio of radiotherapy procedures in the delivery of care for radiotherapy patients. As an integral member of the radiotherapy team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake radiotherapy procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the radiotherapy team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiotherapy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Radiography (Therapy) from a local university or equivalent.
  • A Certificate of Registration (Category T) (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board, Hong Kong.
  • Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Hospital Authority offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a monthly allowance and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Selected candidates may be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as perform on-call duties.

Appointed candidates will be subject to central posting and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
