**Job Summary**

Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our databases, including installation, setup, and upgrades/patching.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and configure disaster recovery solutions, backup routines, database replications, and system health checks.
  • Perform database performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
  • Respond to and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement database recovery procedures to minimize downtime.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in MySQL/Oracle Database administration and recovery on Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Desirable skills include:
    • High-volume, low-latency database experience.
    • Knowledge of database architectures, including master/master, master/slave, cluster, in-memory, and caching.
    • Experience with 24/7 global, highly transactional systems.
