Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief OTC Product Development Strategist to join our Markets division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new product initiatives and executing strategic plans in OTC clearing.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will involve in the execution of departmental strategy and new business initiatives, collaborating with teams to achieve business objectives.
  • You will formulate and write up business proposals on new products and clearing services.
  • You will act as an internal product expert, working closely with Risk Management, Operations, internal technology teams to design and implement new products and clearing services.
  • You will manage IT development schedules to ensure functional requirements are joined up to provide a workable solution.
  • You will work with Operations, Risk Management, Legal, and Regulatory Compliance to draft or amend clearing rules and procedures; followed by drafting proposals and documents to obtain regulatory approval before product launch.
  • You will participate in various working groups to ensure clearing members understand operating models and process designs and are fully supported through training and testing.

Requirements

  • You should be a university degree holder, preferably in Finance or other related subjects.
  • You should have at least 5-10 years' relevant industry experience.
  • You should possess strong business analysis skills.
  • You should demonstrate project planning and management skills through delivery examples.
  • You should be a self-starter, team player, and good communicator with sound judgment and good problem-solving skills.
  • You should be fluent in Chinese and English, both written and verbal.
  • You should have background experience in OTC derivatives and Fixed Income & Currencies.
  • You should ideally have experience across trade lifecycle for OTC products and OTC Clearing.
