Pharmacist - Central District Medical Clinic

The Job Description:

• This role involves working at our clinic located in Central District, where you will be responsible for accurately dispensing medication as per prescriptions, ensuring correct labeling with drug name, strength, quantity, usage directions, and patient identification details.
• You will provide thorough counseling to patients on dosage, storage instructions, and possible side effects of their medications, adhering to practice policies and Hong Kong laws when dispensing medicines.
• In addition, you will identify potential drug interactions and notify prescribers before dispensing, process repeat prescription requests within the agreed timeframe, and document appropriately.
• You will also offer professional advice to patients regarding over-the-counter medication purchases, maintain minimum stock levels of medications and consumables, and source medications, consumables, and equipment as requested by doctors or managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic environment, fluent in English (spoken and written) and conversational in Cantonese/Mandarin.
• Your proficiency in regulatory compliance, drug interaction management, and inventory management will be essential in this role.

• This full-time position offers a competitive salary, along with 14 days of annual leave, and medical insurance benefits.
• The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am-5:30pm, with alternative Saturdays off.
