Job Overview

Crypto.com is a global cryptocurrency platform that serves over 80 million customers. As a mid-senior level Senior Python Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for various ventures projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design of scalable components behind our applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining a data transformation pipeline for Finance teams.

You will guarantee data quality, ensure timely financial reporting, and deliver tailored data products to empower users with self-serve capabilities.

We are looking for an expert who can collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain clear documentation to facilitate team collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Design and refactor Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) with Python and Apache Airflow to enhance data for financial reporting requirements
  • Maintain internal tooling used for managing sensitive company data
  • Work closely with Data Science, Data Warehouse, Exchange, Backend, and Finance teams to align on data requirements and deliverables
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of processes to facilitate smooth team collaboration and hand-offs
