Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Associate to join our team at SAFE Investment. As a Risk Associate, you will play a critical role in monitoring, measuring, and managing all aspects of risk in our day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage all aspects of risk in day-to-day activities, providing expert advice to the investment team to ensure adherence to investment mandate and risk policies;
- Ensure achievement of all requirements of audit and compliance, preparing risk reports as required;
- Work with the compliance officer and risk colleague to achieve internal audit objectives and effectively implement the audit approach;
- Act as the primary point of contact with global counterparties to maintain good relationships, address business concerns, explore further opportunities, and ensure best service;
- Improve the evaluation framework and enhance internal systems to better evaluate counterparties' performance, and host meetings for regular broker reviews;
- Lead the project of counterparty onboarding, due diligence, and incident investigation, overseeing risk status of brokers and managing counterparty risk promptly, collaborating with other departments on various counterparty events;
- Compile and prepare materials such as risk reports, presentations, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Management, or Engineering disciplines;
- Working experience in finance or investment areas, understanding of cash equity trading or security lending would be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of risk management and internal audit practice, working experience in IT or auditing-related practice would be preferred;
- Strong team interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners;
- Good organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects;
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is preferred;
- Solid skills in presentation, organizing meetings, research, and compiling reports, especially in Chinese.
