Job Summary

Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager/Manager, Financial Reporting to join our team. As a key member of our financial reporting function, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and review financial reports for HKMA, CBRC, Head Office, and other regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Assist in overseeing the preparation of month-end and year-end closing, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
  3. Implement new accounting standards and policies, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and relevant standards, guidelines, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
  4. Maintain good internal control and ensure the effectiveness of financial reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Provide ad hoc support duties related to financial reporting, ensuring seamless execution of financial tasks and processes.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, preferably with a recognized professional accounting qualification.
  2. At least 5 years' financial reporting experience gained from the banking industry, with comprehensive knowledge and solid experience in regulatory reporting.
  3. Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
  4. Self-starter, proactive, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
