Job Description

The Global Origin Team is responsible for overseeing the global transportation of products from manufacturing factories in Asia and EMEA to distribution centers worldwide, including North America, Europe, and Asia. The team's goal is to ensure timely shipment delivery and on-time performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure On-Time Performance (OTP) of assigned origins towards DCs
  • Familiarize with daily operations in Asia and EMEA origins with all ship modes
  • Accountable for PO predictability and handle end-to-end process from factory handover to arrival estimation within our DCs
  • Ensure effective shipping order and approval process to achieve OTP
  • Stay up-to-date with carrier vessel schedule and industry trends to drive transportation lead time optimization
  • Communicate well with Production teams to understand production schedules and capacities to ensure vendors deliver products on time
  • Work closely with vendors on lululemon production and logistics policies, processes, and IT systems
  • Maintain high collaborative spirit working with internal and external partners to enhance daily freight efficiencies
  • Be organized and responsive to changes
  • Understand origin spend and localized export procedures
  • Advise and mitigate risks arising from changing market situations
  • Coordinate and support performance reviews with vendors and service providers

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years+ experience in logistics operations within a multinational company
  • University graduate in logistics management or related disciplines preferred
  • Computer literate with MS Office applications and Outlook; ideally an MS Excel expert with V Lookup and Pivot Table knowledge
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of retail environments and international transportation
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Experience in production fields with logistics passion a plus
