We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer/Postdoctoral Fellow in Sports Performance and Biomechanics to join our team at the Hong Kong Science Park. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing sports performance and biomechanics data collected by research-grade equipment to develop software solutions for internal research and testing activities and sportswear development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and analyze sports performance and biomechanics data
* Develop software solutions for internal research and testing activities and sportswear development projects
* Collaborate with our science, product, and design engineering teams to customize software and algorithms for project-specific testing protocols
* Mentor and train interns or trainees for data analysis, presentation, and technical report writing
* Present findings and AI solutions derived from our database in marketing events demonstrating OLAB's commitment to sports performance and biomechanics research and evidence-based product innovations
Requirements:
* Ph.D. degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly relevant discipline
* At least 3 years of relevant research experience in an academic research institute or sports product industry
* Strong experience in managing and analyzing human locomotion and performance research databases
* Proficiency in Python or C++
