About the Role

We are seeking an experienced VP, Finance to join our team in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Italy, or Vietnam. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, treasury, budget and forecasts preparation. You will partner with senior management to provide financial advice and insights to support business initiatives and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3-5 people to manage finance functions, including billing & AR, procurement, expenses and payments, and bookkeeping.
  • Oversee consolidation, treasury / bank administration, tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Partner with senior management to provide financial advice and insights to support business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain management reports to provide insightful analysis into the Group's financial & operational performance.
  • Ensure financials are presented in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform effective cash flow management to maintain the financial health of the company.
  • Manage annual budget exercise and establish processes to track performance against approved budgets.
  • Leverage technology to streamline finance workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish financial policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control.
  • Own and manage relationships with banks, external auditors, and vendors and consultants.
  • Manage, develop, and grow the Finance team to align with business requirements as Hex Trust grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting and treasury, with experience in audit a plus.
  • Experience with Xero, our accounting platform, would be advantageous.
  • Experience in treasury and bank admin processes would be advantageous.
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications and BI tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio) a plus.
  • Understanding of blockchain a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present solutions to stakeholders concisely and precisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a good team player, inquisitive & detail-minded, able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Willing to roll up sleeves to get things done.
  • Strong communication skills in spoken & written English a must, Chinese a plus.
