Job Highlights:

  • Contribute to ensuring the safety of swimmers at beaches and water sports centres.
  • Participate in rescuing swimmers in distress and maintaining order.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Be part of a team providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of swimmers at beaches and water sports centres.
  • Rescue swimmers in distress.
  • Maintain order and assist in cleaning work.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's work experience at public beaches or water sports centres within 20 years of service.
  • A valid Beach Lifeguard Award or above issued by the Hong Kong Life Saving Society.
  • A valid First Aid Certificate issued by the St. John Ambulance Association, Hong Kong Red Cross, or Auxiliary Medical Service.
  • Pass a selection interview, swimming, and trade tests.
  • Pass an eyesight test and Ishihara's Test.

Terms of Appointment:

  • Contract terms under the PRSC Scheme.
  • Rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, and sickness allowance will be granted.
  • A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
