Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect Lead to spearhead our IT transformation efforts in the APAC region.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in selling and delivering cloud-related transformations, with expertise in major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google), architecture frameworks (TOGAF/IAF), and DevOps practices.
  • You will be responsible for technical leadership coordination, solution proposition, and client-facing work on large outsourcing hosting deals, as well as taking the lead/participating in opportunity assessment, qualification, developing response strategy, proposal development, review, and feedback process.
  • Additionally, you will provide training and guidance on cloud technologies, including public cloud and related platform engineering, to sales and account teams.
  • In this role, you will also oversee complex project delivery roles to ensure service quality and support individual and team billable utilization targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Spearheading pre-sales & delivery of Infra/cloud & Apps solutions for multiple verticals, such as Financial Services, Energy and Utilities, Retail, Manufacturing, or Public Sector.
  2. Executing on assigned RFP/RFI/proposals/proposal sections and delivering high-quality responses in terms of content, formatting, and value-adds.
  3. Leading client visits, from planning to front-ending discussions, and providing strategic views on outcomes, methodologies, and processes.
  4. Taking ownership of technical elements on solutions/programs, developing architectural solutions within programs, and managing effective Architecture governance models.

Requirements

  • Degree or above in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or Google) and Architecture Framework (TOGAF/IAF) desirable.
  • PaaS, IaaS, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI-CD / AWS and/or Azure / Kubernetes and Containers / Automation and orchestration tooling such as Packer, Terraform, Cloud Formation experience required.
  • Excellent awareness of current IT trends (Cloud/Agile/DevOps) and products that can influence client's decisions.
  • Proven track record of selling infrastructure services projects and consultancy bids during the pre-sales perspective.
  • Financial management experience: estimating, budgeting, pricing, risk assessment.
