About the Role:

As an Investment Banking Expertise Professional, you will acquire hands-on experience in the banking industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies, and apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. You will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high-quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. Our comprehensive training and mentoring program will equip you to become a skilled consultant.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on investment portfolios in client banks to understand their requirements for investment and advisory services.
  • Present findings and recommendations using business proposals and presentations.
  • Organize and conduct reviews of processes, policies, guidelines, and documentation related to portfolio and product advisory to identify opportunities for clients to create market-leading practices.
  • Document projects into systems and processes for management review.
  • Closely interact with clients through interviews, workshops, project updates, and in-person networking to understand their requirements in-depth and deliver solid solutions.
  • Support thought leadership on Advisory topics by researching market best practices and staying informed of industry trends.

  • Supporting the design and activation of new Advisory-related products and services from Synpulse.
  • Driving the sharing of Advisory knowledge and expertise throughout Synpulse.
  • Leading smaller project teams.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree holder.
  • 3-6 years of experience in the banking or consulting industry.
  • Understanding of investment products and advisory across the Private and Wealth Banking sector.
  • Familiarity with risk analytics and portfolio management.
  • Preferably strong technology affinity and system implementation experience.
  • Experience in financial product management or structuring, portfolio construction, trading, or portfolio reporting is an advantage.
  • Highly analytical and structured in problem-solving; able to quickly understand complex situations.
  • CFA/CAIA/FRM designation or having passed tests is an advantage.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
