Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Expert to join our team at Pinpoint Asia. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in software integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Integration Validation: Utilize advanced SQL and API testing methods to validate software integrations, ensuring seamless interactions between systems.
  • Test Scenario Design: Create detailed test scenarios and scripts based on specifications, driving efficient testing processes.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and resolve issues, guaranteeing the delivery of defect-free software.
  • Defect Tracking: Use defect-tracking tools to monitor and document bugs, enabling swift resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Agile Support: Engage in Agile processes to support efficient development cycles, fostering collaboration and adaptability within the team.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with QA documentation and SDLC practices, maintaining the highest level of quality assurance.
  • Insights and Updates: Share insights and updates confidently with project teams, driving informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
  • Insurance Domain Expertise: Incorporate insurance domain expertise into testing strategies, leveraging your understanding of the industry to drive effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Software Testing Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on integration.
  • Manual Testing and Quality Validation: Skilled in manual testing and quality validation, with a strong attention to detail.
  • SQL and API Testing: Advanced knowledge of SQL and API testing, enabling you to design and execute complex testing scenarios.
  • Defect Management: Experience with tools for managing tests and defects, streamlining the defect-resolution process.
  • SDLC and Quality Assurance: Solid understanding of SDLC and quality assurance principles, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Requirement Analysis and Test Case Creation: Competence in requirement analysis and test case creation, driving effective testing strategies.
  • Agile Methodology: Agile methodology proficiency, enabling you to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Insurance industry experience required, bringing valuable domain expertise to the role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong, confident communication abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with project teams.
