Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Services Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while collaborating with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure stability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Private Cloud.
  • Implement best practices regarding cloud system security measures, deployment activities, and maintenance procedures.
  • Deliver cloud projects end-to-end, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment stages.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot cloud system issues in a timely manner.
  • Support problem resolution or prevention and ensure the stability and integrity of in-house cloud services.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending and implementing new cloud services as solutions to business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure cloud solutions meet HKEX requirements and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cloud engineering, including designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud computing architecture and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization and cost management strategies.
