Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Bilgeadamtechnologies in Hong Kong. This is a remote opportunity that offers the chance to work on exciting challenges in cloud deployment, automation, and data management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality products for our customers.
  • Design and manage modern, automated, cloud-native, continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Build and manage cloud resources for our business needs.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and regulation of banking systems.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of technology best practices for building a modern automated DevOps platform.
  • Good understanding of technologies and experience in building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver projects from scratch.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and strong scripting skills.
  • DevOps toolchain experience (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube).
  • CICD tools hands-on experience (Spinnaker, Ansible, Chef).
  • Cloud computing deployment and management experience (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure) via Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
  • Container management and orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring tools Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and TCP/IP Subnet.
  • Strong understanding and practice of Agile/Lean projects SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
  • Practical knowledge with Git flow, Trunk, and GitHub flow branching strategies.
  • Distributed system knowledge applicable to microservice architecture.
  • Breadth of knowledge – operating systems, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing.
  • Certified in cloud computing (professional levels: Solution architect, DevOps engineer, Security, Network).

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
