Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team, responsible for managing the production of consolidated financial statements and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Manage the production of consolidated financial statements, applying relevant accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Annual Account Closing: Handle Annual Account Closing, including generating annual reports and press announcements.
  • Tax Planning: Participate in preparing tax computation and planning.
  • Accounting Policy Development: Develop and maintain accounting policy & manual for adoption by the group.
  • New Banking Products: Ensure new banking products are properly accounted for in annual account disclosure.
  • Financial Management Support: Provide support on financial management function to PRC subsidiary/branches, monitor and prepare regulatory reports to US branches.
  • Regulatory Reports: Responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reports required by holding companies and CITIC Group.
  • Group Reporting Pack: Maintain the infrastructure and provision of reports for parent bank's Group Reporting Pack in PRC GAAP.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in management and financial accounting in banking industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skill and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bank's accounting policies & procedures.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills; Proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Language: Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
