Post Trade Support Specialist

Job Description:
">The Post Trade Support Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our post trade front office system. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

- To monitor incoming requests and issues, driving forward to resolutions with prompt acknowledgement and follow up.">
- To provide first-level analysis to developers and identify potential solutions.">
- To follow global guidelines for incident handling and crisis management.">
- To provide daily functional and technical support for position keeping front office systems, middle/back office related systems, integration, and users.">
- To participate in Asia and Global projects in unit and user testing of applications.">
- To provide system and process documentation to users.">
Communication:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, including upstream and downstream application teams, as well as external vendors.

">Role Requirements:
">Functional Experience:
">The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in support or business analysis or development in banking, preferably with post-trade FO applications.
">Ability to juggle multiple requests at the same time from demanding users.
">Ability to articulate technical concepts succinctly to a non-technical audience.
">Proficiency in FX products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDF's, FX options) or rates products.
">Proficiency with PnL and Risk Management concepts.
">English required.
">Technical Experience:

- C# experience desirable.">
Support of systems running on Windows Server environment (Windows services; IIS; Scheduled Tasks)
">Support of systems running on a UNIX environment; general UNIX navigation; ability to read and understand UNIX shell / Perl scripts.
">Support of SQL database based systems. Good SQL query skills; ability to read Stored Procured; understanding of basic Query Optimisation.
">Experience supporting large batch systems (typically Control M)
">Familiarity with monitoring systems like ITRS Geneos
">Product Experience:
">FX Product proficiency with Spot; Options; NDFs; Forwards; FX options, Swaps.
">Rates products (IRS)
">Proficiency with VaR; Stressed VaR and similar Risk Management concepts
">Proficiency with P&L calculation on rates and FX Products
">Proficiency with the Life cycle of the typical rates and FX Products
">Requirements:
">The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
">A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not essential. The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
