Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team in the Division of Rheumatology of the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The appointee will work on clinical research projects, including patient assessment, data documentation, analysis, and report writing.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in science subjects, preferably in Biomedical or Biological Science, or health-related disciplines. They should also possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with teammates.

Applicants with one to two years of experience in managing clinical trials and research projects, or a certificate holder in Venipuncture / Phlebotomy with blood-taking experience will be advantageous. However, applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant.

The appointee will work on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in organising clinical research projects, patient assessment, data documentation, analysis, and report writing, as well as other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
