Senior Finance Manager

FortisHill Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our real estate funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our real estate funds, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage fund-level budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Valuation, Fund Reporting & Operation: Coordinate and prepare investor reports, providing detailed analysis on fund performance, asset valuation, and financial metrics. Manage day-to-day fund operations, including cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and fund expenses. Conduct periodic valuations of fund assets, working closely with valuation experts and appraisers to ensure accurate and fair asset valuations.
  • Audit and Compliance: Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee annual audits and ensure timely resolution of any audit findings.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fund-level finance, with a strong focus on real estate funds. Prior experience in a senior finance role within a real estate investment firm is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting standards (IFRS), advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial reporting software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and investors.
