About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising maintenance activities on passenger trains, engineering vehicles, and associated depot plants and workshops.
  • They will also provide technical support for train and depot maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, analysis, and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a maintenance team to achieve scheduled services and performance targets.
  • Provide technical support for train and depot maintenance activities.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to enhance maintenance performance and propose improvements.
  • Act as the Incident Engineer to lead recovery teams at scene when required.
  • Oversee contractors and term labour to ensure safe and compliant works.
  • Conduct studies on train services reliability and performance improvements.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level.
  • Sound experience in rolling stock maintenance and broad exposure in railway engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese/Putonghua.
