Position Overview

Join the Wealth Management Asia Chief Operating Office as a Senior Manager in the Client Risk Assessment Team. This role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding process for clients within the Wealth Management sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Wealth Management division with client onboarding procedures.
  • Coordinate with front office teams and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance (AMLC) to evaluate and onboard new accounts, serving as a liaison for urgent issues that require immediate attention.
  • Examine client and prospect backgrounds, ensuring the completeness of account documentation in accordance with various entity structures.
  • Evaluate the credibility of source of wealth documentation.
  • Provide guidance to front office personnel on alternative solutions that align with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct investigations using various Know Your Customer (KYC) search tools, analyze findings, and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Engage in projects such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and monitor system enhancements and implementations.
  • Support additional ad-hoc projects and responsibilities, including audit functions.
  • Maintain updated departmental procedure and policy manuals.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, ideally with a background in middle office operations.
  • Experience in assessing and approving high-risk accounts.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver client-focused solutions that comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactive, responsible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, with the ability to read Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Avaloq software.
