**Job Summary**

We are looking for a seasoned Market Risk Manager to lead our Market Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting market risk associated with our trading activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective market risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Perform daily and monthly risk reporting to senior management and committees
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of Market Risk management frameworks and related policies
  • Drive efficiency and process improvements to simplify work processes

**Requirements**

  • Degree holder in finance, risk management, engineering, quantitative finance, or related disciplines
  • Possession of FRM and/or CFA is an added advantage
  • 6-8 years of experience in risk management in the financial services industry with comprehensive knowledge of VaR, Basel III, and local regulatory requirements related to market risk and liquidity risk
  • Sound knowledge of related regulatory requirements and market practices
  • Understanding of global markets products, including derivatives, from a risk perspective
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, with solid written skills in English and Chinese

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Manager position.
