Lead Construction Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
- Accountable to the Supervising Officer or their Representatives for overseeing assigned construction activities.
- Ensure the quality of workmanship aligns with the Employer's Requirements and adheres to General Specifications, Site Administration Handbook (SAH), and relevant British Standards and Codes of Practice as directed by the Supervising Officer or their Representatives.
- Oversee all CE/COW, CE/ACOWs, and CE/WS(BW)s engaged by the Contractor, and recommend site staff deployment to the Supervising Officer when necessary.
- Verify the Contractor's setting out of all components. Conduct routine inspections of construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations. Report any unsatisfactory work to the Supervising Officer or their Representatives.
- Participate in client and Contractor progress meetings as required, and attend all site meetings, inspections, audits, and ensure corrective actions are taken for any non-compliance issues.
- Track the progress of site works against the approved schedule. Maintain a daily log of site activities and submit monthly reports to relevant parties as needed. Monitor and update daily labor counts (including Qualified Tradesmen & Intermediate Tradesmen) and report any deficiencies immediately.
- Prepare and submit site progress, technical, accident, and special reports to the Supervising Officer or their Representatives as required.
- Coordinate with the Supervising Officer on all site-related matters. Collaborate with relevant government departments and utility companies for site works as necessary.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building or Building Studies from a recognized institution.
- Achieved 'Level 2' or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 years of site experience, including at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a clerk of works.
