**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to join our Finance Reporting team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the regular financial closing and group reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial records are maintained and controls are in place.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare regular financial closing and reporting on a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with relevant accounting standards and Group reporting requirements.
  • Review and monitor the Sub Ledger & GL month-end reconciliation process to ensure all transactions and accounting records are properly monitored and reconciled on a timely basis.
  • Support continuous enhancement of processes and controls.
  • Support in IFRS17 day 2 items and defects fixing.
  • Support in Future Finance Programme.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of working experience.
  • Experience in Life Insurance business is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in MS office and high proficiency in MS Excel-Knowledge in SUN Accounts.
  • Knowledge in Power BI and SAS is a plus-Knowledge of the insurance business is a plus.
  • Good communication skill to work effectively across teams/departments.
  • Good Business writing-Ability to multi-task and be flexible in adapting to changing priorities and to work independently.
  • Strong technical knowledge in controls and processes.
