Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineering Director to lead our 7x24 operation team on network surveillance, tier 1 and tier 2 engineering support, and ongoing Move and Change of customer's network equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or higher diploma in electronics, computer engineering, or the equivalent, with at least 3 years' experience in networking or system integration/support. They will possess good knowledge in implementing networking solutions and be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure seamless network operations and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Develop and implement IT service management processes and practices to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical consultancy and documentation on network capacity, performance, and utilization reports to customers.
- Regularly review hardware and software vulnerabilities with vendors and derive recommendations for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding network performance, circuit, and component issues.
- Coach and develop subordinates to enhance their performance through training, coaching, and teamwork.
- Ensure effective incident, problem, and change management within the Tier 2 Operation Support team.
Requirements:
- Degree or higher diploma in electronics, computer engineering, or the equivalent.
- At least 3 years' experience in networking or system integration/support.
- Good knowledge in implementing networking solutions.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
