The estimated annual salary for this role is £120,000 - £180,000 depending on experience.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of project delivery specialists to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Collaborate with customer solution teams during the pre-tender, tender, or trial stages to win new contracts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services to customers in a cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain responsive business relationships with customers through problem reporting, escalation, and resolution processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with customer change requests, ensuring no impact on services, timelines, or costs.
  • Monitor and control budgets to maximize revenue and margin achievement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies applicable in the sector and work closely with LOBs to build competency and deploy such technologies, developing deep engineering capabilities within the organization.
  • Nurture strong partner relationships with key vendors and contractors to serve client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external groups to maintain close relationships with customers and serve their current and future needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years' experience in project management for large-scale application development projects.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects in both government and commercial sectors.
  • Experience in setting up or working with off-shore product and/or application development centers in South China.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with executive level and management staff.
  • Client-focused with strong organization and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple teams to deliver robust IT services.
  • Drive and follow up on continuous process improvement exercises in the teams.
  • Proven record of successful staff management in areas of recruitment, performance appraisal, and professional development.
  • Passionate about new technology.
