Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for leading and managing the reinsurance administration team, ensuring accurate data input into accounting records, valuation systems, and regulatory returns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial and management reporting, as well as reinsurance operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance processes, including assessing and remediating data quality issues, and participating in the development of local, divisional, and corporate standards and procedures.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Head of Administration and Data Governance will also lead and mentor the data management team, building and maintaining administration systems, procedures, and documentation to successfully administer business needs.

They will be expected to build and execute a data strategy and plan, identifying areas of priority and communicating with stakeholders to devise appropriate solutions.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data for financial and business reporting purposes.
  • Develop and implement data governance processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Lead and mentor the data management team to build and maintain administration systems and procedures.
