Key Responsibilities:

The Finance department is tasked with local and global financial reporting, management analysis, tax documentation, and accounts payable operations. The Accounting Officer will play a crucial role in supporting both local regulatory and global financial reporting processes.

  • Review and prepare local regulatory submissions for the relevant authorities;
  • Assist the team during the month-end closing activities;
  • Process financial transactions including accruals and journal entries;
  • Manage weekly vendor payments and employee reimbursement claims;
  • Conduct financial controls including reconciliations and management of suspense accounts related to the general ledger.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within an international commercial banking environment;
  • Familiarity with the preparation of banking returns for regulatory bodies;
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to work.
