About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our health finance initiatives in Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our medical reimbursement business and drive growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our health business, including medical reimbursement pricing and reserving models.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and improve in-force management processes, including claims projections and financial implications.
  • Partner with analytics teams to leverage data and analytics to develop market-leading infrastructure for fraud, waste, and abuse prevention and detection.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and learnings, and participate in cross-country working groups as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and champion health products and propositions through the health strategy work, and manage, contribute, and coordinate timelines and deliverables for the health strategy.
Requirements
  • Academic qualifications: University degree or higher, with preference for a degree in healthcare, medicine, or a financial-related field.
  • Actuarial background (ASA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in insurance, consulting, employee benefits operations, or broking.
  • Medical reimbursement pricing/reserving for group/individual medical products or medical group underwriting in at least one mature market in Asia, with 2 or more markets a plus.
  • Strategic mindset and proven track record of driving customer-centric innovations and strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical thinking, reflected in impact and influence skills and confidence in high-level interactions.
  • Financial acumen and experience with financial and other types of management reporting.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Contributes to a positive team, supports others, and works well in a multidisciplinary team setting.
