Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and quantifying opportunities within assigned territories and leading sales efforts.
You will work closely with the sales team to develop and enhance customer and partner relationships, and provide pre-sales technical support for all assigned products.
In addition, you will be involved in providing feedback and marketing intelligence to the sales team and product marketing team to ensure company products remain competitive in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and quantify opportunities within assigned territories and lead sales efforts.
- Provide pre-sales technical support for all assigned products.
- Work with the sales team to develop and enhance customer and partner relationships.
- Participate in communication with customers and partners on product changes, upgrades, and innovations.
- Provide feedback and marketing intelligence to the sales team and product marketing team.
- Knowledge of information security principles and practices, including cryptography, network security, and data protection.
- Knowledge of solution integration and application development, although programming will not necessarily be part of the duty.
- Knowledge of databases (Structured Data Oracle preferred, MS SQL, DB2 or other databases beneficial), cloud technology, and virtualization.
- Experience in database transparent encryption, tokenization, storage and virtualization, cryptographic APIs, PCI compliance, data privacy law, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computing, or similar subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years technical experience in the IT industry and at least 3 years experience in a customer-facing role.
