We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the protection of railway infrastructure and structures during construction projects.
About the Role:
The Technical Officer - Railways Infrastructure will conduct regular inspections at construction sites within railway protection areas to ensure that railway structures and installations are adequately protected. They will also assist engineers in reviewing construction proposals and method statements, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and monitor construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections at construction sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Assist engineers in reviewing construction proposals and method statements
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to handle site matters
- Monitor construction activities and review monitoring results regularly
- Perform shift duties and work under adverse weather conditions
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Civil / Construction Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, with 3 years at supervisory level
- Knowledge of railway operation and infrastructure maintenance is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proactiveness and ability to work independently
Benefits:
- Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license class 1 and 2 is preferred
- Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
