Job Overview:

The Data Centre Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of our data centres, including data centre security and IT equipment access management. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Tasks:

  • Manage data centre security, including data centre external maintenance vendors access management and IT equipment access management.
  • Conduct regular patrols of all data centre related zones, passages, entrance points, and exit points.
  • Investigate and report any abnormal data centre security issues to senior in-charge.
  • Perform regular security patrols of User IT equipment rooms located in various districts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless data centre operations.

Essential Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in data centre operations, particularly in data centre security.
  • Knowledge of basic data centre security related equipment operation, such as CCTV and access control.
  • Basic computer operation skills and knowledge of data centre equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
