About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing required underwriting procedures for mortgage loans, assessing and responding to exceptions of established credit criteria guidelines, and obtaining and processing information related to the loan origination process.
Additionally, the candidate will maintain and update credit and underwriting policies, conduct periodic loan audits to ensure compliance with program guidelines, and monitor regional economic developments that could affect business and credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Performing required underwriting procedures for mortgage loans
- Assessing and responding to exceptions of established credit criteria guidelines
- Obtaining and processing information related to the loan origination process
- Maintaining and updating credit and underwriting policies
- Conducting periodic loan audits to ensure compliance with program guidelines
- Monitoring regional economic developments that could affect business and credit decisions
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a degree in a relevant field and experience in loan underwriting. Knowledge and experience of the Mortgage Insurance Program is preferred.
Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and excellent command of both written and spoken English are essential for this role.
